Privacy Policy – KOJAM Application

The KOJAM application does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal user data. All processes are performed entirely on your device, and no server or database is used to receive, store, or process information. KOJAM has no user accounts, no login system, no background tracking, no analytics, no advertisements, and no data-collection mechanisms of any kind. Phone numbers, shortcuts, and emergency information are stored only on your device, and only you have access to them.

KOJAM accesses your location only at the moment you press the send button or activate the emergency feature. This location is used solely to generate an SMS message that you personally send to your chosen contact. KOJAM does not upload or store any location data on any server and keeps no history of previous locations. The Live Location feature also operates entirely on-device: your phone periodically generates a new SMS and sends it only to the same selected contact.

SMS permission is used exclusively for sending emergency messages. KOJAM does not read incoming messages, does not analyze them, and has no access to the content of your SMS inbox. Location permission is used only to attach coordinates to your outgoing message; this data is never stored or transmitted elsewhere. If permissions are denied, the app simply loses the ability to send location, and no hidden behavior occurs.

User information is never shared with any individual, organization, or external service. KOJAM uses no advertising networks, analytics tools, or third-party SDKs. When the application is uninstalled, all stored data (including saved contacts, shortcuts, and settings) is permanently removed because none of it is kept outside the device. KOJAM cannot reconstruct user history or recover message records under any circumstances.

Users may edit or delete emergency contacts and related information at any time. Since KOJAM maintains no server-side data, requests for account or data deletion apply solely to the application itself; uninstalling the app completely removes all data from the device. Outgoing SMS messages are processed according to your mobile operator’s policies, and KOJAM has no access to them.
